In Kundalini Yoga the most important thing is your experience.

It goes right to your heart. No words can replace your experience.

History of Kundalini Yoga

Virtually every aspect of human existence has an enlightened, efficient, and effective way to do it. Yogis have been custodians of the detailed information on the care and feeding, maintenance, and preservation of a human being.

For thousands of years yogic knowledge was carefully handed down by oral tradition from Master to disciple. The Master spoke, the student memorized and practiced.

To fully appreciate the value of this great gift, we need to understand why, for thousands of years, the Yogis kept it secret. They were selective and guarded because knowledge gives power, and power can corrupt. Traditionally, only after the student demonstrated humility, self-discipline, and obedience would the Teacher reveal the secret kriyas. This knowledge we have to share helps us to prepare humanity for the major changes that this planet is going through as we cross from the Piscean to the Aquarian Age. The ancient technology of Kundalini Yoga can give us the awareness and the strength to make our transition smoother.

"In every person there is a dormant potential.  When that is activated, it gives us the power to experience and express our uniqueness as a human being. It awakens and aligns our glands, cells, neurons, and chemistry to support each action without duality and within the flow.  Purpose and power become an effortless dance, a natural expression of our intention.  In spiritual terms, we say that our soul has found its heart and hands.
So, kundalini is our uniqueness. Normally we try to be different, not unique. We lack the combination of humility, stillness and royalty needed to just be who we are. But in order to be different we fragment our self; we isolate; we select our group and then try to belong. On the other hand, when our capacity to be unique awakens, we belong to our Self and become available to all.

Kundalini is awareness. Awareness is a quality of our being that is both formless and within each form. When we awaken the kundalini, we can engage in the finite games of forms without losing ourselves within them, without being entranced by the form. We can excel in our role as a professional, a yogi, a basketball player or a corporate executive AND be fully present in our uniqueness as a human being.
We were always a partner with the Infinite. Spirit and grace are always here; the future in the present. Through all the pains and pleasures of life, a single thread of ecstatic awareness abides as a witness to our true Self, with love and patience—that is kundalini. Awareness pure and simple. The nectar of life. A key to our birthright of happiness. An ancient mystery come home to everyone, each one precious, unique and self-illumined."

The Goal

The goal of “yoga” is to “yoke” or to unite one’s mind, body, and spirit with the Higher Universal Self.

Kundalini Yoga is much more than just a system of physical exercises. It is a dynamic, powerful tool for expanding awareness.

It's  a technology based on an understanding of the ecology of the human body. Hand positions (mudra), breath (pranayam), sound (mantra), posture (asana), movement, and meditation are specifically combined to invite phenomenal life-enhancing results.

The fundamental objective is to awaken the power of the individual to excel—to experience their Infinity and fulfill their personal destiny; that is, recognize their awareness, refine that awareness, and expand that awareness to the unlimited Self; clear any inner duality, create the power to deeply listen, cultivate inner stillness and prosper and deliver excellence in all that we do.

Kundalini Yoga systematically awakens the “coiled up” energy at the base of the spine resulting in phenomenal life-changing experiences. Benefits reported by Kundalini Yoga practitioners include:

Greater connection with ‘higher consciousness’

Rapid and profound realization of ‘spiritual purpose’

Deepening harmony within one’s self and in relationship to others

Reduced stress and greater health and well-being

Alleviation of specific conditions associated with the body as well as the mind

Optimal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing and balance

Balance the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, and enables us to harness the energy of the mind and the emotions, so we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings.
